| What an amazing Greyt Winter Festival! From the planning, the gathering and the lassoing, I think we all had a greyt time. A very big thank you to everyone who donated auction items, were sponsors, committee members, volunteers and those who brought your beautiful greyhounds to join in the fun. I also want to apologize to sponsors Cheryl Michael, Ann Chihak Poff and Curt Poff and Alice and David Goddard who were omitted from the GWF program.
This year, we allocated all profit to Jackie’s Fund and raised $8,000. This fund is very important and has helped so many hounds like Bruce, Bosco, Vixen and Geordie to name a few. I think I can speak for all who have been helped by Jackie’s Fund in saying thank you.
As we turn the page for February and now March, we are getting ready for our next big fundraiser – Arizona Gives Day. This, along with the Greyt Winter Festival, is one of our biggest fundraisers and I hope you will consider SA Greys on Tuesday, April 7. We cannot do what we do without you and we are extremely grateful for all you do for us.
