Matching Gifts
Perhaps your place of employment offers employee matching, so your monthly donation goes the extra mile matched by your employer. Generosity at work. Ask your HR Department how to apply.  Another option is during Giving Tuesday, or Arizona Gives Day; your employer may match a one-time donation.

Sponsor
We are always looking for sponsors, whether individuals or businesses. Sponsor a year’s worth of harnesses or GPS device subscriptions for incoming hounds. Sponsor our storage unit. Sponsor an event. Sponsor the cost of renting vehicles to transport arriving Aussie hounds from LAX to Phoenix and Tucson. We have options for sponsorship.

Exposure: Lunch & Learn
Give the gift of exposure. Help us educate the public, your coworkers, your networkers, and others by hosting a “Lunch & Learn” session where we bring some hounds and give a presentation about adoption and what desirable greyhound pets are.

RMD (Required Minimum Distribution)
Are you of a certain 70-something age and have an IRA? If yes, each year, you have an RMD and are taxed on that amount.  But, did you know that as an IRA owner, you can contact your IRA trustee (financial institution) and request they donate all or a portion of the RMD to a charitable organization like SA Greys. You will not be taxed on your generosity?  The donation check must be issued by the financial institution. It’s a win-win for you and the greyhounds. All you need to provide is our name – Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption, mailing address: 1517 N. Wilmot Road Tucson, AZ 85712-4410  and tax ID # EIN 45-4526305 before the end of the year or on a monthly or quarterly basis. *Please consult with your tax and financial advisor*

Bequests
Bequests are gifts made as part of a will or trust and are one of the most popular and flexible ways to support the causes that are important to you. A bequest can be a charitable bequest to a nonprofit organization such as SA Greys.

 Host an event that gives back to SA Greys
Does your garden club, Scouts, religious/rotary/networking or fraternal organization, HOA or family want to host a yard sale, comedy club night, concert, sporting event, wine or beer tasting, painting party, golf tournament, collect change, or fill in the blank and donate all or at least 50% or more of the proceeds to SA Greys? Let us help promote it and have some hounds present to make an appeal.

 Online auctions. Raffles
 Do you have greyhound-themed items? Jewelry? Collectibles? Art? Gift cards? Desirable services and experiences (car detailing, professional organizer, cooking lessons, spa day, golf outing, sport or concert tickets, dog sitting/dog grooming package, etc.)?

 Facebook Birthday Fundraisers. Ask your Facebook followers to donate to help the hounds.
