BooRoo-Union
Join us Sunday, October 25 from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM at the Haybarn at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park 3482 E. River Rd., Tucson, AZ. for an afternoon filled with greyhounds, costumes, food, fun, and plenty of friendly competition.
This year’s costume contests are bigger and better, with categories including Regal Costume, Best Pack, Best Human & Hound Duo, Homemade (DIY), Pop Culture, The Long Dog, and Short Costume (Minimalist). And, of course, one outstanding entry will take home the title of Best of Show!
Come prepared to show off your creativity because we have fabulous prizes waiting for our contest winners. And don’t forget the always-popular Hot Dog Bobbing competition—will your hound take home the coveted award this year?
Whether your hound arrives dressed like royalty, a movie star, a superhero, or wearing something hilariously homemade, we want to see it!
You can’t win if you’re not in it!
This year, don’t forget to help us stock the toy box for our incoming hounds! Bring a new toy to BooRooUnion and help make a newly arrived greyhound’s first days with SA Greys a little more fun. We’ll also gladly collect unused collars and leashes—because every hound deserves to arrive in style and be ready for their next adventure.
And, of course, we couldn’t possibly wrap up BooRooUnion without one of our favorite traditions: the group ROO! Once the contests are finished, the prizes are awarded, and everyone has had their fill of greyhound fun, we’ll gather the hounds together and let them do what they do best.
One roo starts…another joins in…and before you know it, the whole pack is singing!
So warm up those vocal cords—human participation is optional but highly encouraged—and help us end BooRooUnion on a wonderfully loud, slightly ridiculous, completely greyhound-perfect note.
