Step aside, Oprah! I’m Opie, the self-proclaimed king of the Lynberg household. I’m 11 years young, and I’ve also found a few of my favorite things. Let me tell you about some of them.
Olewo Carrots: Mom says she never thought that her emotional state on any given day would be so dependent on the quality of another creature’s poop, but here we are. These little dehydrated carrot pellets that promise “a perfect poop every time” delivers for me and keeps my mom sane. Here’s the link for more information. You can purchase Olewo Carrots on Amazon.
Hunny Boots: As a member of the Sighthound family, I have what’s called a “hare foot,” which is long and thin like a rabbit foot. It’s totally the reverse of a regular dog’s rounded “cat’s paw.” Hare feet and cat’s paws can’t wear the same type of footwear. Hunny Boots are specifically made to fit my feet. I find them especially helpful when walking on gravel. No longer do I worry about pebbles getting in between my toes. You can find them here.
Freedom No-Pull Harness: Mom takes my sister, Aari, and me on a walk every morning. Sometimes, Aari zigs when she should zag. Girls! These harnesses offer Mom total control when we walk. The harness is lined with velvet to reduce friction and does not strain my neck. The harnesses are well-made and the customer service is fantastic. In fact, I’m so impressed with them I convinced the Board to provide a No Pull-Harness to all the new hounds coming into the SA Greys family. You can find the Freedom No Pull-Harness here.
NutriBites Freeze Dried Salmon: Mom was perusing down the pet aisle at Costco, looking for another throne for me. After all, I am the king, and all kings need comfortable thrones. She came across a bag of freeze-dried salmon bites for cats and dogs. She picked it up, thinking it would be a little treat for me and my sister. Mom nailed it! We love them. She went back for more, and apparently, it’s not a routine item carried at our local Costco, but it may be for yours. If you can’t locate it at your Costco, Chewy carries them, too. Aari and I give it a 10 out of 10 paws! Check them out here or at your local Costco.
Greyt Escape Handmade Martingale Collars, Tag Collars and Leashes: When I get dressed up and go out on the town, not just any collar will do. I like to stand out, and Auntie Michelle at Greyt Escape always has an eye-catching collar for me to wear. Not only are her collars greyt looking, but they are also well-made. She donates a portion of her sales to SA Greys (my alumni) and provides all the new hounds coming into the family with their very own Martingale collar, house collar and leash. You should totally check her out here.
