Pannus (Chronic Superficial Keratitis/CSK) is a chronic, progressive, inflammatory, and potentially blinding, auto-immune disease that primarily affects the cornea. It is characterized by the infiltration of blood vessels, pigmented and inflammatory cells into the cornea, leading to impaired vision if left untreated.
