SA Greys has hit the ground running in 2025. We received eight beautiful Aussie greyhounds in January and are planning to bring in more before the heat sets in. We are also coming into our main fundraising months with the upcoming Greyt Winter Festival, which includes a silent auction. Jim Click Millions for Tucson Raffle will kick off in March. And April 1 is our biggest fundraiser of the year with Arizona Gives Day.
Last year (2024) was one of the best years for Arizona Gives Day and the Jim Click Raffle so we hope to do as well or even a little better in 2025. We have potential to possibly receive some Kansas farm hounds, which is more costly as they need intake exams, spay/neuter and dentals, and with all incoming dogs there are always transportation costs. Our goal for Arizona Gives Day is to at least meet the $20,000 raised from last year and to do the same with the Jim Click Raffle, which garnered $5,700.
As a nonprofit competing with many other causes that need help as much as we do, it is not lost on me how generous our supporters are and we are extremely grateful for your support. So from one dog lover to many anothers, thank you.
