Hi, I’m Millie — Three Years Old, Fabulous, and Accepting Applications

Hello, darlings. Millie here.

I’m three years old, sweet, affectionate, confident, and — according to reliable sources — an absolute delight. I’m calm, gentle, beautifully mannered, and very easy to be around. Basically, I’m the kind of girl you bring home to meet the family and then wonder how you ever lived without me.

I love people. Attention? Yes, please. Affection? Obviously. Someone telling me how pretty I am while I lounge dramatically on a soft bed? Now you understand me.

I also walk beautifully on leash because I have standards. I’m not interested in dragging you down the street like we’re training for the Iditarod. We can stroll together like civilized ladies.

Now, about other dogs.

Medium-sized dogs? I can be perfectly polite. I’ll say hello, exchange the necessary pleasantries, and then probably wander off because I have other things to do.

Small dogs? Hmm.

I can greet them nicely, but sometimes they get a little too enthusiastic with the sniffing. And occasionally I may issue a soft growl that translates roughly to:

“Excuse me. We’ve just met. Please remove your nose from my personal business.”

I don’t chase them. I’m simply a woman with boundaries.

When I’m off leash around other dogs, I’m generally not interested in joining the committee. I prefer exploring, minding my own business, and doing Millie things.

Because of that, I’d probably be happiest as your one and only canine princess. I enjoy being the center of attention, and frankly, I see no reason to apologize for it. A calm gentleman greyhound might be acceptable, provided he understands that I am management.

I can do stairs, thank you very much, and I could live with dog-savvy children age 10 and older who understand that a lady appreciates good manners.

So, what am I looking for?

A comfortable home. Plenty of companionship. Affection. Snacks. A soft bed or six. Humans who appreciate a calm, loving girl with excellent manners and just the right amount of sass.

In return, you’ll get a beautiful, affectionate companion who will adore you, walk nicely beside you, and gently remind anyone getting too familiar that Millie has boundaries.

Honestly, I sound like quite the catch.
